Welcome to the first post, and to my portfolio. Most of the portfolio website is up and running now! I used an opensource piece of backend software called Dotclear to power the blog. It only had PHP and SQL dependancies so it was a simple install, especially given that my host comes with auto installs for several dozen open source projects. I'll be working on custom edits over time, especially to get it to sync up with the theme switcher.
Project names are loaded into the Portfolio & Projects menu. Blog posts will always get tags about which projects they pertain to. I should from there be able to create an RSS feed on each project page. This way when I post in the main blog it also populates to the correct portfolio page. This allows myself, and onlookers, to gague progress and thought processes of the past and align them with proper progression in my professional development of skills.
